The new Eataly Art House Foundation – E.ART.H., which takes up residence in the spaces of the historic Stazione Frigorifera Specialializzata in Verona, Eataly’s new headquarters, launches its first exhibition season with two major monographs dedicated to as many great artists of the contemporary scene. The protagonist of the first exhibition dedicated to photography is Anton Corbijn (Strijen, Netherlands, 1955), one of the world’s most celebrated photographers who, almost two decades after his last exhibition in Italy, presents “Staged” an extensive solo show designed for E.ART.H., open to the public from Oct. 5, 2022 to Jan. 29, 2023. The exhibition, curated by Walter Guadagnini, a member of the E.ART.H. Curatorial Committee and director of Camera – Centro Italiano per la Fotografia, unfolds as a journey through the Dutch photographer’s career through a body of about eighty works, which includes some of the most iconic shots he has taken from his early days until today and which have now become part of the collective imagination, juxtaposed with other lesser-known ones that shine a new light on his production.
